  3. Demons burn with a cold and intense hatred of God and everything that reflects His love and presence. Since humans are made in God’s very image and likeness, there are no other creatures in the material universe that remind demons more vividly of God. Hence, next to God and the holy angels, humans are the beings most hated by demons.
     
  4. 2:45a.m.

    Sitting on a bench with my bike looking at the infinite. Lost, but I didn’t care. I was alone, I was sad, I was wondering what it would be like if things were different. Infinite possibilities, one lifetime. Which ones would I experience?

    Then I saw a cat, thought it was a coyote and dashed home.

  6. During Mass today I sat down when the priest began to say the prayer for all the fathers in the parish. I began thinking to myself, three or four years from now, I won’t need to sit down.

     
  7. I find that my biggest failing is being lead into despair. This is because I forget many times how the bible ends, He wins

     
  8. I really couldn’t sleep tonight. The only thing that let me sleep again was the sound of you snoring.

     
  9. Yesterday I had a conversation with my sister talking about how people live without knowing the reality of things. I live knowing that someone greater than all the kings of the world, the leaders, the heroes, did something they could never do. And everyday we forget that we weren’t left here to die, but someone was sent on a rescue mission because I was deemed to have value, and my life was one that was loved among many.
